Phoenix Collection

Inspired by the mythical phoenix, reborn through the flames of Kitras furnaces, this piece embodies the magic of renewal. Celebrating the art of transformation, this piece was created using scrapped glass frit from the Kitras Studio, turning something that was once discarded into something truly extraordinary. As this piece catches the light it will reflect the profound beauty that emerges when something old is transformed into something new. Your glass piece is a commitment to sustainability, breathing new life into materials that would otherwise go to waste, showing that beauty really does rise from the ashes.

Story

The story tag reads “Enjoy the beauty in your home or garden with this magnificent piece. The ancient methods of glassblowing, practiced centuries ago, are still used today to create this one-of-a-kind treasure. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted in our studio in Fergus, Ontario and is a testament to the beauty that is handcrafted art, with vibrant colours and breathtaking patterns. This piece is like no other and yours to enjoy, always.

Use & Care

Turn switch to “ON” to activate rechargeable solar panel and allow for daily recharging.

Initially, charge the solar light for 2 to 3 days in bright sunlight, then keep it in the sun for 4 to 6 hours daily.

The battery is rechargeable and will not need to be replaced for a couple of years.

Once charged the battery gives 6 to 8 hours of light.

The battery is a replaceable, rechargeable solar battery (not available through Kitras).

To change the battery, remove the screws on the bottom of the solar panel. Replace the battery and refasten the bottom of the solar panel.

If storing solar light in a dark place (like a shed) over the winter, remove the battery and store in a warm, dry place.

Dimensions

Tear drop width 4”, globe height 5-6” (variable), weight 0.44 lbs"

Stake is 25.5" from the tip of the spike to the rim of the clip (without the glass tear drop).

An average of 6-9 inches of that length will be in the ground when on display.
Gifting
Gift the Phoenix Solar Light as a housewarming gift. This is also a great gift for the person in your life who cares about the environment.

The Phoenix Solar Light is a great gift for someone who enjoys spending time in their outdoor area or a gardener who is looking for an extra pop of colour and intrigue in their outdoor oasis.
Decoration
Solar lights can stay outdoors all year long; however, do not allow the solar light stake to become buried in heavy snow and stake the solar light in an area protected from high winds.

The Phoenix Solar Light looks great placed in flowerbeds, plant pots, gardens, along walkways etc. where the solar light can bring colour and intrigue, lit or unlit.
